Henry D. Crook died October 5th, 1940 at the age of 76 at the Municipal Hospital. He was born on June 10th, 1864 to William and Catherine Crook and was married in 1888 to Miss Ida M. Parmelee, daughter of Franklin Parmelee who was the son of Truman Parmelee, of Markesan, Wisconsin. Henry and Ida resided on a farm near the south-east end of Green Lake. He is survived by his widow and seven children: Harry Crook of Campbellsport, Fred Crook at home, Mrs. Lottie Flynn of Campbellsport, Mrs. Pearl Clark of Ripon, Mrs. Evora Penn and Mrs. Edith Leonhardt of Fond du Lac, and Mrs. Catherine Walker of Green Lake Township, 25 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother and two sisters: Edward Crook of Ripon, Mrs. John Gibbard of Fond du Lac, and Mrs. John Collins of Sheboygan. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery officiated by Rev. E. G. Hamley.
