Mrs. Phyllis Wright Ginger, 68, of 826 Long Avenue, died January 14, 2004. She was the wife of the late Harry Justice Ginger, Jr. who preceded her in death in 1985.
Mrs. Ginger was born February 3, 1935 in Covington, a daughter of the late John Loyd and Recie Ethel Craft Wright. She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church.
Mrs. Ginger is survived by three daughters, Mary Ann Dark, of Brooklyn, New York, Joyce Kesterson of Roanoke, and Emma Fridley of Covington; one sister, Helen Wright Cronhardt of Covington; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted Friday at 3 p.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Gilliland officiating.
