ODUM -- Mattie Lee Hutcheson, 85, died Oct. 18 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. The Tattnall County native lived in Wayne County the past 42 years and was a member of Spring Grove Free Will Baptist Church and a homemaker.
SURVIVORS: her husband, Willie G. Hutcheson of Odum; three daughters, Willa Mae Hughes and Mary Faye Chiettie, both of Odum, and Jo Ann Hasty of Brunswick; two sons, Jack and Wilburn Hutcheson, both of Jesup; a sister, Ruth Rogers of Reidsville; two half sisters, Elinor Bragg of Jacksonville, Fla., and Bert Griner of Lyons; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL: 3 p.m. Wednesday at Old Bethel Baptist Church, burial in Odum City Cemetery. -Savannah Now, Oct 1999
