Lisa A. Hansen, 40, of Bismarck, N.D., died Oct. 28, 2011.

Lisa was born May 17, 1971, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of Kenneth and Zona (Saxton) Hansen. She grew up on the family farm in Evanston, where she attended school and graduated from high school in 1989. Her daughter, Amanda, was born in 1992.

She and Amanda moved to Utah in 1993. She attended SLCC and received her paralegal associate's degree. In 2003, she moved to Bismarck. She received her CNA license and was currently working at the Baptist Home.

Lisa was very close to her daughter and loved sharing every experience she could get with her. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially horseback riding.

Lisa is survived by her daughter, Amanda Lynn Hansen, of Fargo; two brothers, Stephen (Becky) Hansen, of Taylorsville, Utah, and Ken (Cathy) Hansen, of Evanston; her sister, Loie (Eric) Hanson, of Roy, Utah; her best friend, Jenny Buhrman; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She was an amazingly beautiful mom. She will be missed very much.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in Bismarck, with Bishop Jeff Ottosen officiating. Interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, N.D.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
