Songwriter. He was the composer on over 80 films including: "Hit Parade of 1941," "Cowboy Serenade," "Step Lively," "Anchors Aweigh," "The Miracle of the Bells," "Macao," "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes", "Gypsy," and "Funny Girl." Styne was nominated for 9 Oscars and shared the win for Best Music-Song for 1954's "Three Coins in the Fountain."
