Willis Macedonie Watkins was shown to be a fireman on the 1900 Federal Census. By 1910 he was a photographer and he continued in that occupation through the 1930 Federal Census. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jessie Florence Spurgeon Watkins, in 1913 and by his second wife, Corine Elora Walker Watkins, in 1943.
