GEORGE W. LANG, LETTS STOCKMAN, CALLED IN DEATH

George W. Lang, of Letts, age 70, farmer and stockman, died at 7 a.m. today at Bellevue hospital in Muscatine, following an illness of about seven months with heart trouble.
Mr. Lang was born Feb. 25, 1867, in Wilton township, and resided in this vicinity all his life. He married Bertha R. Lieberknecht on Jan. 2, 1910, at Grandview. He was a member of the Evangelical church of Wilton township, and later joined the Congregational church at Grandview.
Surviving are his wife, two brothers, William Lang and Lewis Lang, both of Wilton, and one sister, Mrs. R. B. Herr, of Muscatine. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Lang, three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
The body is at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral home where rites will be conducted Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be made in Grandview cemetery.
