Emily Hope Shaw, 57, 260 E. 950S, died at 2:20 P.M. Friday in Marion General Hospital.

She was born in Grant County and lived in the area most of her life. She married Donald Shaw on September 1, 1979. He survives.

Mrs. Shaw had been employed as a cashier for Aramark Food Services in Marion General Motors plant. She was a member of Marion AMVETS Post 5 Auxiliary and the Jonesboro American Legion Post 95 Auxiliary. She loved to collect dolls and to sew.

Also surviving are her mother, Lillian Mae Kugler Pence, Marion, a son, Brian(leslie) Gillespie, Gas City and two daughters, Patricia M. Lusher, and Phyllis "Jodi" Tedder, both of Gas City; three brothers, Joel (Cheryl) Pence Jr., Swayzee, and Terry (Cindy) Pence and Dee Wayne Pence, both of Marion; four sisters, Billie Jo (Mrs. Stephen Siefert, Phoenix, Sarah S. ( Mrs. Donald Kesler, Kokomo, Marcia (Mrs. Ronald McQuiston, Mesa, Arizona and Debbie (Mrs. Ronald Cook, Marion; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, David Lewis Gillespie; and daughter Teresa Joanne Gillespie.

Services will be at 2 P.M. Monday in Needham-Storey Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main Street, Gas City, with the Revs. Courtney V. Granger and Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Alexandria.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. today and from noon until services Monday at the funeral home.
