After the war, attended Colorado College and the University of Denver. Risk Manager for Ex-Cell-O Corporation, Detroit, MI. Retired to Las Vegas. Married Marie Ferris, 1946, one child, (div). Married June Normand, 1956, (div.), no issue.

Mother's maiden name is Violet R. Philipp, b. 1904 in NYC; d. 1983 in Riverside, CA; first wife of Rudolph Downing Sr. Violet cannot be located on Findagrave.
