BARTKO, Michael J., 84, of Radford, died Friday, February 22, 2002, in a Pulaski nursing home.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Reba McDowell Bartko.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Donald Leighton, Radford; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael Bruce and Jessica Bartko, Baltimore, Md.; six sisters, Alma Bartko, Helen Albright, and Alice Piazzi, all of Freeland, Pa., Mary Trocha, Betty Wandishin, and Martha Kuhn, all of Erie, Pa.; one brother, John Bartko, Whiting, Ind.; along with two grandchildren, Anna Katherine Leighton and Alexis George.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 24, 2002, at St. Jude's Catholic Church with Father Bob Judge officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude Catholic Church or to the Pulaski Health and Rehabilitation Center Resource Fund. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2002, at The DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford.
