Isaac Meredith Sr.'s 1850 census--Newcastle, Coshocton, Ohio - born in Delaware. His family did live in Kent County, Delaware.

He was a Captain in the War of 1812, for Russell's Battalion; and a Justice of the Peace in Coshocton County, Ohio.

Isaac Meredith married Sarah "Elizabeth" Beatty on 25 Mar 1805, in Preston County, Virginia. His Mother was named Sarah, and the Merediths knew Sarah Elizabeth Beatty Meredith by her middle name, Elizabeth. Her gravestone at Mohawk Baptist Cemetery reads "ELIZABETH wife of I. MEREDITH".
