Services for Curtis A. Meadows, 54, of Magee were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, from Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. Interment was in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Simpson County. Rev. Frank Jones and Rev. Guy Gray officiated and Colonial Chapel Funeral Home was in charge.
Meadows died on March 19 at the Mississippi Baptist Hospital in Jackson. He was born in Mississippi on May 1, 1918 and was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pauline Meadows of Sanatorium; 3 daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Adams of Gulfport, Mrs. Faye Cook of Jackson and Mrs. Lynda Rumble of Laredo, Texas; 6 grandsons; 1 sister, Mrs. Ralph (Edna) Scott of Bude.
