Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, with pastor Clyde Ondrizek officiating. Burial will be in Killbuck Cemetery.
Friends may view anytime prior to the services on Saturday at the funeral home.
She was born Feb. 22, 1939, in Massillon, the daughter of Throllis and Catherine (Cookston) Ross, and married Willis Dean Chanay on June 28, 1955. He preceded her in death July 31, 2010.
Martha was a cook at Millersburg Junior High School and was a member of Seventh-Day Adventist Church of Millersburg.
Surviving are children and their spouses, Jan and Bart Mohler of Millersburg, Barb and Tom Arnold of Killbuck, Bill and Karen Chanay of Coshocton and Jim Chanay of Killbuck; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Barb Gabriel of Georgia, Sharon Vance and Mary Lou Grindstaff, both of Tennessee, and Carol Sivey of Mount Vernon; and brothers, Austin Ross and Lanny Ross, both of Mount Vernon.
A daughter, Rhonda died in November 2009. A brother, Robin Ross, also preceded her in death.
