Mr. Daniel Burrell, of Delaware township, died on Wednesday morning last after an illness of about five weeks. The deceased has been unwell and complaining for two or three years, but was not taken down until the time mentioned above. Mr. Burrell was a strong professor of religion, and belonged to the old Methodist school. His wife died about a year ago. He leaves three daughters, Mrs. M.B. Pitney, Mrs. Oliver Pitney and Mrs. A.A. Albright. His only son, Charles, died in the Union army during the Rebellion. The funeral took place from the Dingman M.E. church on Friday and was preached by Rev. C.S. Scott

DINGMAN'S FERRY, Pa., Sept 21. - Mr. Daniel Burrell died in Delaware township, Pike County, September 18, aged 74 years and 18 days. After marriage he settled in Pike County. He was always a very hard working farmer. He joined the church when he was young, and was a faithful Christian up to the time of his death. A while before he crossed the river of Jordan his last words were, "All is well."
Mr. Burrell was a native of Sussex county, N.J. After his marriage he removed to Pike county, where he resided until his death. He was a brother of Rev. W.H. Burrell, of Camden, N.J.; Mrs. Sarah Decker, of Craigvill; Mrs. Eliza McCarty, of Stroudsburgh; Mrs. Cornelia Byram, of Galesburg, Ill, and Mrs. Mariette Doolittle, of Ohio
