TEACHER RETIRES - Miss Dorothy Hathaway, formerly of Bennington, and for the past 30 years a teacher in the Junior High School, Athol, Mass., was guest of honor at a farewell party by the Teachers Association as she retired from the profession at the close of school last month. She was presented a wrist watch and travel case. The teachers of Riverbend School, where she taught mathematics, entertained her at a dinner party at the Athol House and presented her will luggage. Miss Hathaway is spending the summer with her sister, Mrs. Bert Weller of South Stream road.
