Annie was born in Zolfo Springs, Florida. Her family moved from Cleveland, Florida to the Village of Manatee in 1918. Annie was a graduate of Manatee County High School, class of 1924. She qualified to teach school and taught at Maple Branch Elementary in 1926. This one room School was located near the Sarasota County line. She married Glenn Frazier in 1927, and they moved to Oklahoma in 1928. Annie, Glenn and their two children moved back to Manatee County in 1937, where she worked in the grapefruit canning plants as a sectionizer and in tomato canning plants peeling tomatos during season.
