Elmer Lawrence Anderson, 73, of 679 28th, died Monday morning at McKay Hospital of natural causes. Mr. Anderson was born Feb. 2, 1898 in Springville, Utah, a son of James and Jensene Hansen Anderson. In 1922 he married to Cleo Jones. They were later divorced. On Nov, 24, 1950, he was married to Edna Lucille Davidson in Winnemucca, Nev. He had worked as a conductor for the Southern Pacific Co. before retiring. He had lived most of his life in Ogden and was educated in Springville. He was a member of the 18th LDS Ward, BPO Elks 719, and Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen, No. 68. Surviving are his widow of Ogden; one stepdaughter, Mrs, Willard (Norma) Hansen, Ogden; five step grandchildren, three step great - grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Jane Christean, Mrs. Gardena Baird, both of Salt Lake City; one half brother, Ezra Anderson, Lehi. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Ogden City Cemetery with former Bishop Rulon Wardle officiating. Friends may call at Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel Wednesday fro 10 to 11 a.m.
