Known to his friends and family as Steve, he was born on Nov. 19, 1958, and raised in the Black Hills of South Dakota. As a young boy in 1973, Steve's freckle-faced charm won him a small role in the movie, "Tom Sawyer" with, now famous Oscar-winning actress, Jodie Foster and Johnny Whitaker.
Steve moved to Wisconsin in 1990, where he became a die-hard Packers fan. He loved to hunt and watch sports. Steve's infectious joy and energy filled any room he entered. That infection will not end with his departure from this earth. Although his passing will leave a void, his memory will live on in the memories of those who knew him.
Steve is preceded in his death by his parents Frances A. (Nix) and Joseph C. Hogg, Sr.; and brother, Michael Hogg.
He is survived by three sisters and two brothers; his ex-wife, Heather Hogg and their son, Michael Hogg of Edgerton, WI; a son, James (Mary Beth) Pummel; and grandson, Liam Pummel of Idaho.
Steve will be missed by friends and family. He had such a great spirit and loved to make others laugh and feel loved.
