Funeral services will be held at the Baptist Church at Dial at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon with the Rev. Larry Baker officiating. Interment will be in the Windom Cemetery with Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home directing.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Lucy Fortenberry Cooper of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Mildred Bridges of Dodd City, Mrs. Mary Reece of Dallas, Mrs. Minnie Hargrove of Barstow, Calif. and Mrs. Betty Charles of Paris; three sons, Raymond Cooper of Corsicana and Allen and Joe Cooper of Dallas; a stepson, Odell Fortenberry of Honey Grove; a brother, Warren Cooper of Honey Grove; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Born Jan. 20, 1882, in Ozark, Ark., Mr. Cooper was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. S. C. Cooper. He married Miss Belle Fox and she died in 1921. He married Mrs. Lucy Campbell Fortenberry later.
Mr. Cooper was a member of the Baptist Church at Dial and a past member of the Windom and Dodd City IOOF lodge. He was a retired farmer.
