Harrah resident, Kathryn Alexander, 66, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, in Oklahoma City. She was born June 17, 1937, in Wewoka to Harvey and Exie (Smith) Montgomery. Kathryn graduated in 1955 from Tecumseh High School. She married Larry Alexander on Jan. 15, 1955 in Tecumseh. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Francis Collins; and brother, Ed Montgomery. Survivors include her husband; daughter and son-in-law, Lou Ann and Robert Schneider of Yukon; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry D. and Gayle Alexander of Newalla and Gary and Kathy Alexander of Harrah; sisters, Carolyn White of Choctaw and Sharon Johnson of Plano, Texas; brother, Bob Montgomery of Tecumseh; four grandchildren; great-grandchild; and many other family members. Service was held on 10 October 2003 at the Cooper Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Dennis Stone officiated. Burial was at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
