Jacqueline "Jackie" Graham, 47, of Morganton, NC died Monday, October 31, 2011 at her residence. Born in Burke County, NC on December 31, 1963, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Mode and Ruby Mae Davis Mode. Jackie had a green thumb, and she loved her flower and vegetable gardens.
A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Jackie is survived by her sons, Thomas Andrew Greene of Greensboro, NC and Larry Dale Greene, Jr. of Morganton; grandchildren, Braxton Greene, Cambric Trinks, Addison Greene, and Trenton Dula; brothers, Franklin Mode of Glen Alpine, NC, and Charles Mode and wife, Louise of Morganton; and a daughter-in-law, Jessica Right of Morganton.
In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Victor Mode and George Andrew Mode.
The funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, November 3, 2011 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center with Rev. Mike Brown officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. At other times the family will be at the residence.
The family would like to give special thanks to Burke Hospice and Palliative Care for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
