SELMA--Patty A. Lyons, 73, died Sunday morning, November 13, 2005, at her residence following a brief illness.

She was born July 1, 1932 in Anderson, the daughter of Clarence R. and Dortha L. Maxwell Armfield, moved to Muncie as a child, and attended Muncie schools.

Mrs. Lyons was employed at First Merchants Bank for 16 years prior to her retirement in 2001.

Mrs. Lyons was a member of Northside Assembly of God Church, Rural Carriers Sympathy Club, and Westinghouse Sympathy Club.

Surviving besides her mother, are five daughters, Brenda Randolph (husband-Wayne), Cowan, Nancy Porter (husband-Bud), Mansfield, OH, Susie Craig (husband-Steve), Frankfort, Robin Ross, Springport, and Rhonda Johnson (husband-Larry), Muncie; three sons, Robert H. Moore, Jr. (Tammy), Muncie, Matthew Lyons, Selma, and Jason Lyons, Muncie; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Verda Shreves, Parker City, and Marna Brown, Muncie; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father; her husband, Francis E. Lyons in 2003; her son, Nathan Eugene Graham; and her grandson, Robert H. Moore, III.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2005, in Northside Assembly of God Church, with Rev. Carlton Bowden officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory from 4 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday or one hour prior to services on Thursday at the church.
