FUNERAL OF ATTORNEY COX.

Oldest Member of Cayuga County Bar Laid at Rest Wednesday, July 27.

The funeral of the late James R. Cox, the oldest member of the Cayuga County Bar association, who died suddenly at his home, No. 22 Franklin street, Sunday evening, was held at his late home at 4 o'clock, this afternoon. A large number of floral tributes were received from his many friends and the house was filled at the service. The members of the Cayuga County Bar association met a half hour before the service and attended the funeral in a body. Professor A. S. Hoyt of the Seminary officiated and the bearers were immediate relatives of the deceased. Interment was made at Sand Beach cemetery.
