Obituary:
Arminda Armstrong---Arminda Frances Conyers, daughter of William and Frances Conyers, was born Feb. 16. 1876 and passed away on Nov. 18, 1949 at the age of 73 years, 9 months and 2 days. She grew to womanhood and spent most of her life in this community and has been a member of the L.D.S. Church since early childhood.
On April 22, 1901, she was united in marriage to Robert Armstrong. To this union three children were born; two daughters, Lavida and Viola, who preceeded her in death; and one son, Emil, who lives near Castana.
'Mindy' made and had lots of friends. She was always willing got help wherever she could. Her greatest pleasure was in giving to others. Her sudden death was a shock to all who loved her.
She leaves to mourn her death her husband, Robert, son, Emil; 4 grandchildren; 1 sister Mrs. Nellie Kos of Mo. Valley, 3 brothers. George of Logan and John and Fred of Moorhead; many other relatives and lots of friends.
Funeral services were held at the L.D.S. Church, Elder Clifford Cole of Woodbine, officiating. A quartet, Margaret Balantyne, Ione Johnson, Lyle Davis and Harold Baeth sang "Under the Wing' and "The Old Rugged Cross". Pallbearers were John Ballantyne, Dale Vredenburgh, Park Moorhead, Floyd Bryceson, Robert Neilsen and Dale Wiliver. Interment was in the Little Sioux Cemetery.
