Danica was born in Sandy, Utah on February 25, 1988 to her parents, Diane and Bob Richards. She was loved by all who knew her. Danica attended Alta High School, where she made many friends.
We will remember her contagious laughter, cute jokes and pranks, her bright smile, warm hugs, her endless optimism, and how giving and supportive she was of family and friends.
She loved camping, fishing, traveling, and collecting treasures (including pets). She loved all the beautiful things in life; even spontaneous bad weather.
She loved the individuals she worked with at Life Skills. She had just recently graduated from cosmetology school, where she perfected her talents.
Danica had been living for the last several years with her dad, Bob, and step-mom, Kim Richards. She will be greatly missed by all.
Danica is survived by her parents; great-grandfather Stan Price; grandparents Lavaun Petersen, and Barbara and Ole Jensen; siblings Christie (27), Dallas (30), Britnie (25), and Andrew (25). Nephews Tayvin (5), Madden (3), and niece Makenzie (2); aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, including Paul and Pauline; step-grandparents and family; her loving puppy Tickles.
Funeral services, honoring her life, will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the LDS Chapel at 11570 South Wasatch Boulevard (3600 East), Sandy. Family and friends may gather for a viewing on Friday November 4, 2011 at Larkin Sunset Gardens on 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and again Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the chapel on Wasatch Boulevard prior to the funeral services.
Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
