William H. Brewster, an old and respected resident of this city, died Friday afternoon at the Kingston Hospital. Mr. Brewster had been a resident of Kingston practically all his life, residing for over half a century at 58 Gill street. Two weeks ago, he fell and broke his leg and was removed to the hospital for treatment. For many years he was employed as a carpenter by the Cornell Steamboat Company.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Hannah Wool of Ridgewood. N. J., two brothers, Wallace of Ridgewood and George of this city; and a niece, Mrs. Edna Reddick of Ridgewood.
Funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the funeral parlor of E. A. Kelly, 111 West Chester Street, with burial on Monday at noon in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Nyack.

The funeral of William H. Brewster of 58 Gill Street, where he had resided for over half a century, was held at the Ernest A. Kelly Funeral Home, 111 West Chester Street, on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. The Rev. Clarence E. Brown, pastor of the Wurts Street Baptist Church, officiated.
The services were largely attended by friends and neighbors of the deceased and there were many beautiful floral offerings. Mr. Brewster for many years was employed at the Cornell shops on the Strand. Burial was in the cemetery at Nyack at noon today.
