Orrick Richardson Of Alba Succumbs
Alba, Mo., March 23 -- Orrick Richardson, widely known in the eastern part of Jasper county, died at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon in his home here following a long illness. He was the father of Harry Richardson, cashier of the First National Bank of Joplin.

Mr. Richardson was born in 1853 near Larussell and lived in Jasper county all of his life. For a number of years he engaged in a general merchandise business at Red Oak. He removed to Alba and conducted his business here until about ten or fifteen years ago when failing health forced him to retire.

Besides his son, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Harriet A. Richardson; two daughters, Mrs. Pearl Needels of Alba, and Mrs. Herbert Teague of Bowling Green, Ky. A sister, Mrs. G.T. Kelley, resides in Carthage.

Funeral arrangements await the arrival of Mrs. Teague.
