She was a regular cast member on television's "Barney Miller" where she played Bernice Fish and the spinoff series, "Fish." In addition to numerous guest roles on other shows, she also had a role in the 2003 film "Down With Love", Judge Margaret W. Wilbur on NBC's "My Two Dads", Grandma on ABC's "Dinosaurs" and was the gravelly voice of Wilhelmina Packard in the 2001 animated film "Atlantis: The Lost Empire."
