A celebration of his life will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, November 3, 2011 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel, with Rev. David Fambrough officiating. Burial will be in Sivels Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Sivels was born July 28, 1937 in Montgomery County and was preceded in death by his parents, Frank James and Imar Emily Reeves Sivels. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, a glazier for Union Glass and a Baptist.
Survivors include his son, Michael Thomas Sivels; daughters, Shelly Luker, Brandy Scott Webb, Kelly Denise Sivels; brother, Repps Sivels; sister Jeanette Hughes; grandchildren, Brian, Bobby Johnny, Amber, Brandon, Mitchel, Michaelah, Summit; and great-grandchildren, Olivia, Shelbie, Briana, Madison and Riley.
