Emma married Henry Clay Ramey on 23 March 1865 in Cloverdale, Sonoma Co., CA Henry passed away in Kern county 10 March 1902.

From the "Bakersfield Californian " , Sat. April 8, 1933

Pioneer matron of Loraine Succumbs. Mrs. Emma Robb, 82 years old, matron of the Loraine district and a resident of Kern for 37 years, died at her home today. She was a native of Indiana, coming across the plains to northern California with her parents when she was but 4 years if age.(1855). Surviving her are six daughters: Mrs. Hatty Inman, Half Moon Bay; Mrs. May Fitch, Bakersfield; Mrs. Kate Brown, Mrs. Lou Simmons, Mrs. Bessie Cummings. And Mrs.Annie Cameron, all of Los Angeles; and three sons, James, Fred, and George Ramey all of Kern County. Funeral Services will be held in Doughty-Calhoun-O'Meara Chapel, Monday afternoon at 1:30. Interment will be in Union Cemetery (Bakersfield)
