Mrs. Jerry Joanne Boockholdt Bentley Smith was born on September 21, 1934 to John Arnett Boockholdt and Leona Margaret Harris Boockholdt. She was the youngest of the Boockholdt family. Jerry had one sister - Nellie Inez Boockholdt who married John Swint Eades - two brothers - John Robert Boockholdt and Franklin Delano Boockholdt. Jerry worked on the farm with her mom and was involved in 4-H during her school years. She won First Place with her Grand-Champion Hereford. Jerry graduated from Thompson High School in 1955. As time passed Jerry met James Russell Bentley and married in 1961. Jerry and James welcomed their first son in March 1968 - James Russell Bentley II. After a few years in August 1971 a second son was born - Jason Arnett Bentley. Thru the years she raised her family and watch her son's marry and have family's of their own. In October 2003 Jerry welcomed her first and only grandson into her life. James Russell Bentley III. Jerry loved her sweet Jamison with all of her heart. October 26, 2011 she enter heaven's gates and was reunited with her family in heaven.
