EDGEWATER - Harold William Blair, 78, of Yule Tree Drive, who retired after 37 years of work in the quality control department at Delco Products, died Thursday at home.
Born in Richmond, Va., Mr. Blair, a Navy veteran, moved here in 1983 from New York. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a member of the Elks Club, both in New Smyrna Beach, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Honeoye, N.Y. An avid baseball fan, he enjoyed the Atlanta Braves. He also coached Little League Baseball and enjoyed car racing, snow mobiles, gardening and country music.
Survivors include five sons, Tom Bray, Edgewater, Mark, Aaron and Stewart Blair, all of Bloomfield, N.Y., and Raymond Bray, Honeoye Falls, N.Y.; nine daughters, Tami Fuhrmann, Debbie Belcher and Mary Jane Marcone, all of Edgewater, Patti Shaffer, New Smyrna Beach, April Blair, Rochester, N.Y., Robin Barge, Lima, N.Y., Connie Blair, Bloomfield, Donna Smith, Panama City Beach, and Cindy Tilley, Naples; 31 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Settle-Wilder, New Smyrna Beach, is in charge.
