Anthony Jon Miles

Anthony Jon Miles, age 23, died suddenly on October 29, 2011. He was the son of Joanne and Sean Lafferty of Erie and Jon and Michelle Miles of Bernville, Pa.

Tony graduated with honors from McDowell High School in 2006, and earned a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010. He was an active member and past President of the Phi Kappa Theta fraternity. Tony worked for The Webb Law Firm in Pittsburgh and attended Duquesne University School of Law.

Tony was preceded in death by his beloved maternal grandparents, Joseph and Edythe McLaughlin.

Tony is survived by his sister, Leah King, husband, Tommy, of Hamburg, Pa, his sister, Taylor Miles, of Bernville, paternal grandparents, Jack R. Miles, Daytona Beach, Fla., and Barbara Schweinsberg, Ellwood City, Pa, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family's grief is unbearable, made easier only by the love and support of family and friends, and by our faith which teaches us that one day we will again see Tony and all our faithful departed in Heaven.

Friends are invited to call at Brugger Funeral Home Wednesday, November 2, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and to a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, November 3rd, at 9:30 a.m., at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1626 W. 26th St.

Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
