COOKEVILLE -- David Blaine King, 50, of Watertown, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, at Crest Lawn Funeral Home in Cookeville. Burial will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, and again Sunday from 1 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
Mr. King passed away Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011, at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage.
He was born May 12, 1961, in Nashville to Robert Harold and Dorothy June Whitt King.
Mr. King worked as an installation technician with the Diebold Corp. for 17 years. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved the outdoors, animals and working with his hands. He was a devoted, loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend.
In addition to his parents, his family includes his wife, Robin A. Emmert King of Watertown; a daughter and son-in-law, Ashley N. and Greg Allen of Cookeville; a son and daughter-in-law, Christopher B. and Amanda King of Cookeville; a grandson, Cody Allen of Cookeville; two granddaughters, Kinslea Allen and Jozie King, both of Cookeville; a brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Vickie King of Crescent City, Calif.; a sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Bill Adcox of Mooresville, N.C.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Pastor Ron Allen will officiate the services.
