"Services for Mrs. J.R. Bond, 64 were held at the Baptist Church at Perrin with Rev. McQuerry officiating.

Mrs. Bond died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A.M. Nicholson. She had been ill since last December when she had a stroke. She was hospitalized in the Albany hospital for some time and spent four months with her son who lived in Albany. Mrs. Bond married at Boonville, Texas in 1905. The family spent most of their lives in Perrin. Mrs. Bond was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church.

Survived by two daughters - Mrs. A.M. Nicholson, Mrs. L.L. Young; four sons - Leonard Bond, Richard Bond, Buford Bond, Joe D. Bond; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother - Joe Berry."

On June 6/7, 1900, Fannie A. Berry, age 16, lived with her parents, Thomas & Matilda, ages 50 & 36, & her brother, Joseph S., on their farm in Justice Precinct 8, Wise Co, TX

Fannie, age 21, married John Ripley "Rip" Bond, 22, on September 10, 1905. Both were born in TX.

On April 28, 1910, Fannie R. & John R., ages 26 & 17, were renting a farm in Justice Precinct 8, Wise Co, TX with their two children: Ina L., age 3, & Thomas M., 1 & 10 months. They had been married 5 years; Fannie had given birth to 2 children.

Sometime later they moved to Jack Co, TX where they lived on Jan. 3/5, 1920, when the Federal Census was taken. Fannie A. & John R., ages 34 & 36, were now parents of Ana Lee, age 13; Thomas F., 11; James B., 7; J.D., 5; & Elizabeth, 1 year & 1 month. They owned their home, & John was employed in a cotton gin.

On April 14, 1930, Fanny A. & John R., ages 46 & 47, lived in Perrin Village, Precinct 2, Jack Co, TX. Their home was valued at $700. John worked as a pressman in a cotton gin.

Children still at home were J. Burford, age 15, who worked as a salesman in a grocery store; Florence E., 11; & Richard O., 7.

Fannie & John R., ages 56 & 57, were renting a home in Perrin on April 15, 1940. John had continued to work at the cotton gin as a pressman. Fannie was employed as a telephone operator for Home Telephone Electric Company. At the end of 1939, Fannie was shown as having earned $600 during the year; John had earned $120. Their son, Richard B., was 17.

John died at home from Sarcoma of the bones on August 8, 1955.

Fannie had a stroke in the fall of 1953, which caused paralysis. She had been living in Fort Worth, TX for five months when she died at home at 10:55 on October 4, 1958. Death was from Hypostatic Pneumonia, from which she had been suffering for four days. She was 74 years old. Her daughter, Ina Nicholson, was the informant on her death certificate.
