AUBURN - Alyce Gosch, 77, of
Auburn, died Wednesday, Oct. 31,
1990, at her home.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m.
Saturday, Nov. 3, at St. Mary's Catholic
church in Auburn. The Rev.
Gene Wingert will officiate.
Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery,
Auburn1. The Farber and
Otteman Funeral Home of Sac City
is handling arrangements. A rosary
will be recited at 3 p.m. today at the
funeral home by the St. Mary's
Altar Society. A vigil will be held at
7:30 tonight at the funeral home.
Alyce Henrich was bom Feb. 12,
1913, in Sac County, a daughter of
Joseph and Elizabeth (Rice) Henrich.
On May 15, 1933, she married
Alfred Gosch at Sac City. The couple
lived in the Wall Lake area and
later moved to a farm near Auburn,
where they lived the past 30 years.
Mrs. Gosch was a member of St.
Mary's Church, Auburn, and an
honorary member of the Altar Society.
She is survived by her husband,
Alfred, Auburn; six sons, Fred,
Webster City; Francis, Kenosha,
Wis.; Richard. Normal, IL.; John,
West Des Moines; Robert, LaVista,
Neb.; and Mark, Auburn; eight
daughters, Eleanor (Mrs. Francis)
Olereich, Wall Lake; Betty (Mrs.
Vern) Riesseleman, Halbur; Mary
(Mrs. Carl) Snyder, Breda; Ruth
Gosch, Omaha; Joan (Mrs. Jose)
Hernandez, Omaha; Jeanette (Mrs.
Daryl) Mandell, Omaha; Patricia
Gosch, Carroll; and Theresa (Mrs.
Gregg) Hogan, Lubbock, Texas; 33
grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by two brothers,
Len Henrich, Sac City, and
Flbrian Henrich, Clarissa, Minn.;
four sisters, Rita Zimmerman. Sac
City; Frances Hochstein. Wlndom,
Minn.; Mary Selbitschka, St. Paul,
Minn.; and Agnes Literski, Galesville,
Wis.
Mrs. Gosch was preceded in
death by her parents, one son, two
sisters and one grandchild.
