Parley Burton Bennion, 65, passed away January 28, 2000 of natural causes.

Born June 24, 1934 in Salt Lake City, UT, the third child of Parley June Bennion and Helen Bur ton. He married Gaylene Edling on November 18, 1955 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple; they were later divorced. Parley grew up in Star Valley, Wyoming and graduated from American Fork High. He served in the US Air Force and at tended the University of Utah. He worked for Kennecott Copper Corp. and later became a salesman.

Dad will be remembers most for his ready smile, good nature, love of gardening, good food and his cow boy boots. Dad loved his family and never complained about anything. He will be missed very, very much.

Parley is survived by his much adored sister, Lynette Asay (Reed), Leslie, ID; his three children. Shannon Salt, Salt Lake: Marianne Wilson (Scott). Wichita, KS; Kelly Bennion (Debbie). Ririe, ID; and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Grant Bennion; grandson, Joel Wilson; and best friend. Marcelle Walters.

Graveside services were Thursday, February 3, 2000 at 12 noon, at Dad will be remembered most for Mackay, ID Cemetery.
