Dorothy Emma Work , 83 of Jourdanton, Texas pass away on Sunday, May 1, 2011, in Jourdanton, Texas. She is survived by her sons, Fred Ward Work of Jourdanton, Duane Emil Work and wife Deborah of Pennsylvania, John Arthur Work and wife Renee of Lake Hills, Charles William Work and Erlinda of Jourdanton and daughter, Gwen Joyce Powers and husband Chuck of Orange, brother, Eugene Buro of Lubbock, sister, Helen Terrell of San Antonio, eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Fred Work and great grandson, Deklyn John Chain.
Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home Chapel, 118 W. Oaklawn Rd., Pleasanton, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 5, 2011. A funeral service will be held at Hurley Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Friday, May 6, 2011. Interment will follow at Jourdanton City Cemetery.
