Rites for Marine Set at Forsyth

Military funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at Forsyth for Marine Private First-Class Harold Alan Draper, 19, who died of injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident May 31.

Private First Class Draper son of Mrs. Gene Frates was serving with a marine corps air unit in Hawaii at the time of his death.

The body was sent to the mainland from Honolulu.

He was born Nov. 28, 1928, at Cartersville, MT.

He attended school at Forsyth and in Billings.

He was a junior in Billings Senior High School at the time of his enlistment Sept. 20, 1946.

Burial will be beside the body of his father in the Forsyth Cemetery, Forsyth, MT.

Surviving, besides the mother are a sister and the maternal and paternal grandparents.
