MUNCIE--Ira Leon Arment, 93, died Friday in Williamsburg Village.
A Central High School graduate, Mr. Arment retired from Ball Brothers after more than 32 years. He was a member of Gethsemane United Methodist Church and Huntington Lodge F&AM.
Survivors include a brother, F. Vernon Arment; four daughters, June Smith, Deana Harris (husband: Joe Bob), Anita Dailey (husband: J. Roberts), and Betty Ann Scroggins (husband: Don); 15 grandchidren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
His first wife, Gladys Morrow Arment, died in 1956. His second wife, Irene Moore Arment, died in 1988.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Meeks Mortuary. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Calling will be 3-7 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary, where Delaware Lodge F&AM will conduct memorial services at 7 p.m. Sunday.
