Daughter of Hugh and Anna Allen Moore. Wife of George William Baker, married 9 JAN 1835 in Boone County, Kentucky.

A notice of Rebecca's death can be found in the Shelby County Herald, May 8th, 1889 Issue. The Shelby County Historical Society and Museum will be able to help you find it.

**Note from Find A Grave contributor Linda Hansen: Rebecca Jane (Moore) Baker's obituary appeared in the paper on May 4th, 1899. It stated that she and her husband George W. Baker moved from Boone County, Kentucky to (Black Creek) near Shelbyville in 1852 raising a large family of seven sons and four daughters all but one were still surviving.
