Mrs. Nina Prosser Crabbe, 78, widow of Willard A. Crabbe, Fairfield and Knox, Maine, died unexpectedly at the home of her son, Carvel, So. Easton, Mass., Dec. 3. She was born in New Brunswick, Canada, Aug. 4, 1888, the daughter of Myron and Eva Prosser.

She had lived in Maine since 1927, coming from Fort Fairfield to Fairfield in 1934. In recent years she had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Perley Grass of Knox, Me.

She is survived by four sons, Carvel, So. Easton, Mass.; Clayton, Perth, N. B.; Basil, Unity, Me.; Harry, So. Easton, Mass.; three daughters, Mrs. Perley (Grace) Grass, Knox, Me.; Mrs. Mason (Della) Carter, Palatka, Fla.; Mrs. Robert (Donna) Bagley, Boxford, Mass.; one brother, Arthur Prosser, Coldstream N. B.; one sister, Mrs. Percy (Geneva) Parker, Saint John; two half-sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Villa) Faulkner, Hartland, N. B.; Mrs. Gerald (Iva) Fowler, Thorndike, Me.; seventeen grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Dec. 6 from the Lawry Brothers’ Funeral Home, Fairfield, Me., with Rev. Robert Philbrick, Knox Ridge Baptist Church officiating. Pallbearers were nephews Floyd and Steven Fowler, Thorndike, ME., Ernest Charity, Fairfield, and Clayton Thompson, Knox, ME. Burial was in Maplewood Cemetery, Fairfield.
