Denise Reale Di Miero of Delanco passed away on Oct. 26, 2011, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Born on Oct. 31, 1963 in Camden, N.J., she lived in Delanco for the last 21 years.

Denise had a few nicknames throughout her life, 'Nee,' 'Dot,' and for the last several years, everyone knew her as 'Mama D.'

She graduated from Riverside High School, Class of 1983 and the Masion de Paris Cosmetology School.

Denise loved to coach youth sports. She coached cheerleading, softball, soccer, basketball and her favorite sport, field hockey. She was a member of Riverside PAL, and a founding member of both Little Green Cheerleading and Delanco Youth Sports Association.

While she also loved all the Philadelphia professional sports teams, her favorite team to root for each fall was the Eagles.

She was a parishoner of Jesus, The Good Sheppard Church, Riverside, (St. Peter's).

Born on Halloween, she loved to decorate the house each year. Every holiday brought more decorations and more parties at her house. Denise loved to throw a party and she would make sure there was plenty of home-cooked meatballs and sausage, peppers and onions.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Ann and Marie Virginia. She was the daughter of Frank and the late Kathleen 'Babe' Reale.

Denise is survived by her loving husband, Jim, to whom she was married to for 24 years. She is also survived by the loves of her life, daughters, Brittany (Bubba Bellan), Erin and Leandra, all of Delanco.

She will be dearly missed by her special little dog, Lily.

She is also survived by her three sisters: Kathleen Reale of Riverside, Deborah Mongon (John) of Riverside, Donna Reale Waters (Steven Bigwood) of Delran, and brother, Frank W. II (Danielle Pandola) of Waterford Works, N.J.

Denise is also survived by her mother-in-law, Mary Di Miero of Riverside, her brothers-in-law, Michael Di Miero of Riverside, Joseph Di Miero (Sherri) of Riverside, and sister-in-law, MaryLouise Di Miero, also of Riverside.

Denise was also blessed by the following nieces and nephews: Nicole Potts (Dean), John (Melanie) and Gregg Mongon, Danielle, Marissa, Jackie, Nicole, Joanna Di Miero, Jason, Tabitha, Elisha, Jared, Caleb, Noah, and Hannah Reale; and her cherished great-niece, Laci, and great-nephew, Dino Potts.

She was also preceded in death by her dear niece, Melissa.

Denise made many friends over the years and she will be dearly missed by all.

Liturgy of Christian Burial will be said on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 10:30 a.m. at Parish of Jesus, the Good Sheppard (St. Peter's Site), Riverside.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend Denise's visitation and share their memories and stories about her on Tuesday, Nov. 1 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Chadwick Memorial Home, 154 Webster St., Riverside, and also on Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. Interment will follow the Mass at St. Peter's Cemetery, Riverside.
