Albins Kornejs, of Warrington and formerly of Horsham, PA, died Friday, May 24, 2013, in Buckingham Valley Nursing Home, Newtown, PA. He was 74.

He was the husband of the late Ilona M. (Sauleskalns) Kornejs who died January 4, 2004.

Born in Latvia to the late Adams and Antonia (Kuzmans) Kornejs, his family immigrated to France following World War II, where he attained his technical school degree. He served in the U. S. Army during the late 1950's and was stationed in France.

Mr. Kornejs worked as a tool and die maker in the Horsham area for many years.

A member of St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church, Horsham, he also attended the Bucks County Latvian Baptist Church, Applebachsville, PA. He was a member of the New
Jersey Latvian Priedaine Society, Freehold, NJ.

In his early years, he was a licensed airplane pilot. Mr. Kornejs enjoyed playing the accordion, and he was multi-lingual, fluent in Latvian, French and English.

He is survived by a sister, Anele Milewski and her husband Peter, of New Hampshire.

Family and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Services to be held Thursday, May 30, 2013, at 7:30 PM in the Bernard Suess Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA.
