Mrs. Adolph Clasen, 59, of Rt. 3, Manitowoc died Thursday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a short illness. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Town of Newton, the Rev. A. T. Degner officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She was born Linda Waack June 2, 1899 in the Town of Newton, daughter of the late Henry and Sophie Rambadt Waack. She was a member of the church. Mrs. Clasen was married Sept. 25, 1919, in the Town of Newton.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter Carol at home; three brothers Emil of Reedsville, Alvin of Manitowoc Rapids and Norbert of School Hill, and a sister, Mrs. Rubin Groelle of the Town of Newton. A son, Kermit and two sisters preceded her in death.

Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 2 p.m. Friday until 10:30 a.m. Saturday when the body will be removed to the church to lie in state until time of service.
