Anna Marie "Anne" Rober, of Bedminster Twp. and formerly of Lansdale, PA, died on her 88th birthday on Sunday, April 7, 2013 in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Twp.

She was the wife of the late Milo Clyde Rober, Sr., who died September 26, 2001.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of Ellwood M. and Anna K. (Penz) Siegfried. She was a graduate of Olney High School, Philadlephia, PA. She went on to earn her secretarial degree from Temple University, Philadelphia.

During WWII, she volunteered with the American Theater Wing of the USO. She also volunteered with the Salvation Army, at the Valley Forge General Hospital, working with blind and wounded soldiers.

Anne worked as the Parish Secretary at St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Keller's Church, PA for 27 years, retiring in 2003. Previously, she worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Bureau of Employment Security.

She was a member of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Anne Townsley, of Warrington, PA and two sons, Milo C. Rober, Jr, of Bedminster Twp. and Meredith J. Rober, of Whitehall, PA; twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Mark E. Rober in 2010.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 12, 2013 at St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3668 Ridge Road, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Keller's Church Cemetery.
