Milo C. Rober Sr., 78, of Bedminster Township, formerly of Lansdale, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township. He was the husband of Anna Marie (Siegfried) Rober. They were married for 55 years last February.

He was a millwright at Merck, Sharpe & Dohme, West Point, Montgomery County, for 18 years before retiring in 1981. He also taught welding for the Montgomery County Technical School for three years during the 1970s, and previously worked for Superior Tube, Collegeville, Montgomery County.

Born in Minneapolis, he was a son of the late Harry C. and Alice (Combs) Rober.

He was a member of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kellers Church, where he was on council and chairman of the property committee.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II and served in the Navy Reserve. He was a member of American Legion Post 242, Quakertown.

He was an artist and welding sculptor for many years.

Survivors: Wife; daughter, Anne Townsley of Chalfont; sons, Milo C. Jr. of Bedminster Township, Mark E. of Green Lane, Meredith J. of Whitehall Township; sister, Gay Jorgensen of St. Louis Park, Minn.; 13 grandchildren.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday in the church. Call 10-11 a.m. Monday in the church. Arrangements, Bernard Suess Funeral Home, Perkasie.
