Aug. 31, 1741 at Ashford. Her death is not of record. They had five known children: Azuba, Rosamond, Cyrus, Hannah, and Daniel, 3rd. Daniel Jr. Married 2) purportedly on Nov 23, 1819 an unknown Huldah, who survived him and d. June 19, 1830 at Ashford. There are no known children of Daniel's 2nd marriage. On October 22, 2022, Captain Daniel Allen Jr. was honored with a Patriot Grave Marking Ceremony that is reserved for Patriots of distinction who fought during the American Revolutionary War. The ceremony was conducted by the General Israel Putnam Branch No. 4 of the Connecticut Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR); he is buried in North Ashford Cemetery, Eastford, Connecticut. Captain Daniel Allen Jr. served in General Israel Putnam's 3rd Connecticut Regiment in 1775, the 20th Continental Regiment in 1776, and the 3rd Connecticut Regiment Continental Line between 1777-1779. After a brief ceremony and prayer, members of the Connecticut Color Guard fired two volleys to honor his service and memory.
