Barbara Ann Burleson Rich age 73 of Mesquite, TX, passed away October 27, 2011. She was born December 9, 1937, in Streetman, TX, to Fred and Willie Helen (Browne) Burleson and married Olen D. Rich, Jr. in May, 1956. Mrs. Rich was a legal secretary until her retirement in 2003. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and was musically talented, playing the piano, organ and saxophone. Mrs. Rich was a member of Town East Baptist Church for 45 years. She is survived by her husband: Olen Rich of Mesquite, TX; son: Danny Rich & wife Melissa of Rockwall, TX; daughter: Cynthia Curry & husband Fred of Garland, TX; sister: Patricia Roberts & husband Lee of Garland, TX; and four grandchildren: Aaron Curry, Stephen Rich, Emma Curry and Kelli Rich. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Robert Burleson. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Chapel with Rev. Bobby Deets officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00pm.
