Mrs. Galyen was born April 13, 1889, in Seligman and had lived in Cassville until moving to Dallas, Texas in 1955. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Her husband, Wesley Galyen, died Sept. 30, 1961. Survivors include two sons, Leonard Galyen, Anderson and Lindsey Galyen, Alma, Ark.; two daughters, Mrs. Alta Campbell, St. Jo, Texas and Mrs. Edith Kingston, Dallas, Texas; a brother, Layton Pippin, Seligman; three sisters, Mrs. Florence Steverson, Cassville, Miss Oldie Pippin, and Mrs. Clara Williams, both of Seligman and 13 grandchildren.
